Aliya Naumoff began shooting black n white portraits of neighborhood kids while living in the South of Spain during a high school exchange program. She studied photography at The University of The Arts in Philadelphia. She then moved to Manhattan and worked for David LaChapelle for two years.

Aliya's work has since been featured in art shows around the world and magazines such as Interview, Rolling Stone, I-D, Nylon, and many more. She lives in New York with Kira, the little black dog who is basically a furry old lady.
